Lovely stretch Leavers lace trim in two colors: Apricot and Ivory. (Ivory is not white like snow, but definitely not as dark as cream. Think of it as a warm white.) It's made in Calais, France, by one of the world's most respected lace companies. Their laces are used by top fashion designers and high-end lingerie brands. As you can see in the pictures, this lace can be cut to show off the lovely eyelash fringe. - 7" Wide from eyelash to eyelash (177mm) - 92% Polyamide 8% Elasthane - Leavers lace - Made in France Leavers lace is the apex of modern-day laces, made by a laborious process involving many bobbins on a well-preserved loom. Leavers looms are no longer manufactured since they are so costly to operate, but they produce laces of unrivaled delicacy and beauty. (Raschel lace was created in an effort to mimic leavers lace less expensively, and in some cases raschel does a beautiful job of that.) Orders of more than one yard will be cut from continuous yardage, however please note that Leavers lace is woven in pieces, so orders of more than 3 yards will be sent as two pieces.
