By far, a sew-in weave installation is the most popular method of extensions recommended for black hair. The client's hair is cornrowed then with a needle & thread, wefted extension are sewn to the braids. A weaving net is optional. Sew-ins are also a great protective style option. No heat or glue is used for sew-ins.

A Sew-In is the traditional weave/extensions method mainly for black hair. Sew-Ins are a popular protective for natural hair health. This is a cold fusion technique that does not require heat or glue. The client's hair is braided into cornrows, a net is then sewn onto the cornrows then lastly, wefted hair is then sewn onto the net. Using a net with the Sew-In Method relieves tension and allow for a long lasting install as clients natural hair grows out.
