She entered the North Texas Fair & Rodeo in August of 2021, won it and qualified for the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. She was having some typical rodeo struggles and got a call to see if she could compete at Rodeo Austin. That turned her season around and her goal of winning rookie of the year became more feasible.
